My uncle passed away a year ago, he suffered from cancer - colon cancer. I know how cancer affects lives, families, friendships, but most of all its victims. I wish there was a cure for this deathly disease. With this look, I say FUCK CANCER!
October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As a woman, breast cancer is a disease that affects me, therefore it is every month. My friend, Danielle of She's A Gent, is very fortunate to be witnessing her mother recover from this illness. Together we will keep standing up against cancer and #fightforacause. Join the fight and #wearpink in support of every woman who have either suffered or are suffering from this disease.
This #ootd is dedicated to Danielle's mother. A pink pop just for you momma. I'm wearing a modern twist of a classic blue and brown combination. Blue jeans with a complimentary gingham shirt and a beige sweater. Want to kick it up a notch? Try a tricolor gingham blazer and bright blue shoes. I love me some no-show socks from Taft; they are comfy, stylish, and they stay in place. I polished my look with a dot of pink with my lapel flower.
This story is that of how I choose to fight against cancer. It sucks.
